Dennis Kimbro relates the principles of Hill's classic to Black America. A must read!

Not having even read the book, I can already see how the book relates to what is known as "Black America". They say we as a people live life with a slave mentality. Believing in some cases and knowing in others that someone 'bigger' is trying to keep us oppressed and unsuccessful. That's why it is so important that we as black graduates go back and encouraged those whom yet to be 'find the light'.
Also, to note on the validity of the principle....
Mind over matter and attitude determines altitude are the definitions of the mind. No matter has ever made it big thinking they couldn't do it.
